Davigo Pits PC Players Against VR With 'Cross-Reality' Battles

Flatscreen vs. VR, which side would win? That’s what Davigo hopes to find out next week.

Developed by a three-person team, Davigo is a 4v1 “cross-reality” multiplayer game. As the Giant, one VR player embodies a giant head with floating hands and your goal involves killing the four Warriors, using “full-body gestures to crush their opponents and avoid incoming fire.” As for the flatscreen team on PC, you’ll fight the Giant by building up an arsenal ranging from bomb throws to flamethrowers.

Previously available for alpha build testing for the studio’s Patreon subscribers, Davigo's current release plan starts with an early access launch on Steam and Quest App Lab. That includes four game modes, seven maps and official modding support. Come full release, Davigo Studio promises improved map art and "general improvements" for balancing and performance.

Davigo arrives on November 29 on Steam and the Meta Quest platform via App Lab. The full version currently targets an early 2024 release window.
