Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is delayed on Quest until 2024.

Developed by Be The Hero and Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing team UNIVRS, Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable was previously revealed in our Upload VR 2022 Winter Showcase with a Summer 2023 release window. Later delayed until Winter 2023, that's been pushed back once again into the second half of 2024. Here’s the full statement from Keigo Fujikawa, UNIVRS CEO:

We have decided to postpone the release date of "Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable" once again. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to those who have been looking forward to the game as well as to everyone involved. To deliver the highest quality product to players around the world, we need a little more time to complete it.
All of us at UNIVRS will continue to work hard to bring you a VR title that you will enjoy even more. We are striving to make Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable more exciting for all of you who are waiting for it, and we appreciate your continued patience.

UNIVRS previously released a new trailer during 2023's Quest Gaming Showcase, though no gameplay was revealed. As members of the Scout Regiment, Unbreakable sees you taking down Titans using your ODM (omni-directional mobility) gear, promising "dynamic combat" that gets harder as you defeat more. Featuring single player and two-player co-op, Japanese language support will be available, alongside an English dub and subtitles.

“We believe that the ODM Gear is one of the best dreams for Attack on Titan fans. UNIVRS is putting everything we have into making that dream come true, although developing the Attack on Titan game is already like a dream for us," said Fujikawa in a prepared statement this June.

Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable arrives in "the latter half of 2024" on the Meta Quest platform.

Notice: This article, originally published on June 1, 2023, was updated on November 28, 2023, to reflect the release date delay.
