UploadVR often learns about limited-time beta testing for VR games and as a resource to the community, we're compiling them all in this article and will update it when new testing is scheduled.

Primal Rumble
Primal Rumble is a turn-based VR/MR card-combat game for up to four players on Quest. Testing is being conducted by Impact Labs, the game-testing wing of Impact Reality. You can expect to test the following:
- Onboarding, tutorial, core UI/navigation, solo mode
- Core combat loop, 2-player multiplayer, early card collection
- 4-player mode, card crafting/collection economy
- Progression/unlocks (characters, cosmetics, arenas), retention, regression pass
To join, you can either join Primal Rumble's Discord server, or join Impact Labs directly.
Exoshock
Exoshock will launch an open beta beginning on September 17. The beta will serve as the final free playtest ahead of the game's planned Early Access release later this fall.
The open beta will support both single-player and multiplayer co-op runs for up to four players, and you'll be able to play the game through SteamVR and on Quest 3 and 3S headsets. Flat screen gamers can also play, and cross-play will be available between VR and standard PC players.
Vaelorys
Vaelorys is a spellcasting action RPG for Meta Quest with loot-driven progression. The developers are running a playtest through September 22. You can sign up via the Meta Quest's channel access invitation system here.
Cryodeath
Cryodeath VR is a deep-space horror survival game that first launched on Steam in 2024. It is currently being ported to Meta Quest with an October 1 release date.
In preparation, Quest playtests will open on August 31 and run until the aforementioned release date. You can sign up on the game's website.
Rustmourne
Sci-fi horror FPS Rustmourne has a form where players can sign up for playtest sessions. The current test started on August 4 and runs through August 21. Players have to be willing to do a brief video call on Discord to verify their identity and sign an NDA (nondisclosure agreement) before being accepted.
The developers have said applicants will stay on file for future playtests, so we'll leave this entry up and update it when new tests are announced.
Drifters: Blackout Crew
Drifters: Blackout Crew is a sci-fi co-op extraction shooter from Salmi Games (Sweet Surrender). Salmi is accepting applications for playtests for Quest 3 headsets.
