Dystopian survival shooter Into the Radius 2 goes to a full release for Meta Quest 3/3S on August 27 after an Early Access launch in May.
The game started in Quest Early Access in May 2025. Like Steam's full release, the Quest 1.0 update will add a complete story campaign with fully voice acted characters, new zones, anomaly types, and weapons.
Here is the original 1.0 release trailer for SteamVR. At the time of this article, developer CM Immersive has not released an updated Quest-footage trailer:
The full release on Steam came with a bit of controversy just before it dropped. CM Immersive ran a brief beta, introducing the story campaign and two new NPCs, Guide Lauri and Supervisor Eva. These characters were met with a negative response as players found them too cheery, talkative, and out of place in the isolated, dystopian atmosphere of the game.
CM Immersive responded by scaling back the number of appearances and voice lines for both characters, with some in-person segments being replaced with voice messages on the player tablet for Eva and interactable white figures for Lauri. These changes will presumably carry over to the Quest 3 port.
Into the Radius 2 is available in full release on Steam and Early Access on Meta Quest 3/3S.
