'The Herbalist' is the latest limited-time Elusive Target mission for Hitman: World of Assassination. The free DLC starring hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg releases on August 27.
The announcement was made at Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live games showcase at Gamescom this week. The Herbalist runs from August 27 to September 26. Here's the trailer:
In The Herbalist, you once again assume the role of Agent 47, this time on the hunt for Dr. Cyrus Cane, an entrepreneur preparing to launch his latest product, Morsizzles, a cookie product said to be 'addictively' tasty. Behind the scenes, an elaborate cover-up scheme is hiding evidence of deaths during internal product testing. As always, Agent 47's mission is to eliminate the target, this time during a product pre-launch event on Haven Island. You will need to have access to the Haven Island location to complete this mission.
The Elusive Target series is a line of free, limited-time DLCs dating back to the 2016 Hitman game. Past Elusive Targets have featured actors Milla Jovovich, Sean Bean and Jean-Claude Van Damme and rappers Eminem and Wiz Khalifa.
Hitman: World of Assassination is available in VR on Steam and PlayStation VR2. The Herbalist is a free add-on to the game available starting August 27.
