Looking to take your VR sessions to the next level? Immerse yourself with KAT VR’s latest release, the KAT Walk C3 Ultra. The omnidirectional VR treadmill reinvents locomotion in virtual reality, and combines a safe way to enjoy natural movement in every direction, haptic feedback in real time, and a power system that supports continuous play.
You might be asking yourself, “What makes the KAT Walk C3 Ultra different from any other VR treadmill?” Well, it’s the flagship walking backwards mechanism. A player simply needs to lean back and the mechanical safety lock is engaged automatically – now the player can physically step backwards without using a thumbstick. The C3 Ultra helps players immerse themselves even more than before, allowing for greater freedom. Additionally, the platform itself is 15% larger than the C2 and the introduction of the new Sit Module allows for longer seated sessions.
Not only is the KAT Walk C3 Ultra about freedom, it’s about power and immersion. The Power Edition features an updated power system that lets players take advantage of continuous play without worrying about switching out headset batteries. It totes built-in USB-C (outputs up to 100W) and USB-A (outputs 5V-2A (10W) ports with fast-charging and an integrated PD chip for uninterrupted play time on the Quest 3. The Matching C3 Haptics Shoes now have vibration motors on the soles and sync up with the treadmill base and VR controllers.
The KAT Walk C3 Ultra is specially-designed as a VR locomotion system and supports a growing collection of PCVR games and experiences. For players using a Quest standalone, pick up the KAT Quest Adapter which will add an RJ-45 port and three USB-A ports. And don’t worry – the C3 Ultra supports over 100 Meta Quest games that don’t need a PC.
VR treadmill enthusiasts can expect two editions of the KAT Walk C3 Ultra; the Standard Edition and the Power Edition. Pricing varies as follows:
Standard Edition
Power Edition
