Forefront Update Adds New Game Mode, Melee Weapon, "Battle Pass" & More

Forefront's latest update, called Operation: Sandstorm, adds a new game mode, melee weapon, progression-tied unlockables, and much more.

Forefront has just launched a new update known as Operation: Sandstorm which adds a new game mode, a combat knife (the game's first melee weapon), a new rifle, and a new progression system called "Operations" that's essentially a "battle pass" in all but name.

Operations offers players an opportunity to unlock free rewards, through gathering points from daily and weekly challenges. Operations also offers premium rewards, such as character and vehicle skins, weapon patterns, and more, if players choose to purchase the premium version of the Operation.

In addition, the update adds a new game mode called "Breakthrough" which is a mix between Conquest and Rush. The objective is for attackers to push and capture all points in a sector until they overwhelm the enemy and conquer the map, while defenders try to maintain control of their sectors.

The full list of changes is included here, pasted from the game's Steam update page. Enjoy!
